About the Course
For over two centuries, Tuḥfat al-Aṭfāl has remained one of the most widely studied introductory texts in Tajwīd. Its concise verses organise the essential rules of Qur’ānic recitation into a clear and memorable structure.
During this course, students will study the entire poem, understand each chapter, examine practical examples from the Qur’ān, and build a firm foundation for further study in classical Tajwīd.
Students who fulfil the course requirements will also receive an ijāzah in the text with a connected sanad to its author, Imām Sulaymān al-Jamzūrī رحمه الله.
